Volume 9. Chapter 10: Finally Embarrassed. (Chapter 811.)

  Chapter 10: Finally Embarrassed.

At first, Celia just assumed that the girl was too scared to be thinking clearly. But then she tried walking over to her, with another shriek, and Mena running to hide in a corner, being her reward.

Nowadays, Celia had high confidence in her beauty, so confusion flooded her mind. This lasted just one minute, as Celia quickly recalled how she was currently wearing full black Gothic Lolita attire.

Celia: “Despite my clothing, I am not a ghost.” She spoke with a coaxing tone, trying to hide her red face.

Mena: “H-how do I know that for sure?” She replied, tone shaky. “Why is Celia here? Is this some kind of trick, to get me to lower my guard? At least I am good at acting scared…” She secretly thought.

For thousands of years, Mena was trapped in this dimension. She had lost all concept of time, and Mena couldn’t escape at all. This house was alive, and it constantly attempted to end Mena’s precious life.

Until now, the trapped woman didn’t see a single other person. Celia appearing here… could only be a trap, was what the girl thought.

Celia: “How about you look at my Status? Only living beings can have one, and, if I was a Ghost or Wraith… it’d say so in my information. Status.” She suggested.

Presented with the blatant truth, Mena couldn’t believe her eyes. She was still just Level 1, with this pocket dimension having no means for her to gain Exp. Even still, Mena wasn’t certain that this was the real Celia, her mother, regardless of how… much she felt that this was her family.

Ruina: “Mena, do you have your memories? Not all of us had theirs erased, oddly.” She asked directly in Mena’s mind.

Mena: “Ruina?!” She exclaimed in shock, out loud.

Celia: “Hm? Is Ruina talking to you?” She asked with a head tilt.

  Mena: “…”

Ruina: “Celia doesn’t have her memories, Mena. But, yes, this is her, basically the same as before…” She informed with a sigh.

Celia didn’t bother to ask to be added to their private conversation, as Ruina told her that… there were some things she needed to keep secret from her. Obviously, this was one of them, so Celia just patiently waited for them to finish talking in secret.

  Explanations, Later.

Mena: “Getting sucked into this pocket dimension… how unlucky.” She mused with a remorseful tone, feeling that this was partly her fault.

In this life, Mena was born with her past life memories, as a Wraith, one which stayed at age 16. Long ago, Mena had indeed sent a request, but had forgotten about it until now.

Celia: “Eh, I’ve experienced worse. Anyway, we need to find a way out of here.” She replied with an unbothered shrug.
