Chapter 21: Saving The Group Before Exploring.

  Carma: “Eh? They Dual Cultivated?!” She exclaimed in shock.

  Leaving her sister to search for herself… wasn’t in Carma’s intentions. As such, she had left, letting the other capable members protect Mena.

  They agreed with this… for one main reason. Very few here could speak the common tongue of this world. Rather than Veil recruiting people of it, Guanyu could only assume that whoever controls this place… can somehow transfer people from a Cultivation Dimension, into this world.

  Currently, only Guanyu, Carma, and Celia knew how to speak their language, which was ancient Chinese. The Cultivator taught Celia to further their connection, and Celia taught her sister the language for fun.

  Carma: “It was you who was too patient. Ria, I gave you permission to court Celia directly after her 18th birthday. Yet, you waited, and now Guanyu took the lead from your grasp.” She replied with a smug tone and expression.

  The maid wanted to scold Carma for being so cheeky, but then there was a knock at their door. The buildings also looked like those from ancient Chinese, only slightly more interesting due to the Cultivators’ presence. As such, the door was actually a screen.

  Celia: “We’ve finished.” She informed with a bright smile.

  Celia came into the room, holding her recently married wife’s hand. The girl seemed to glow, and between her and Guanyu, lilies were blooming in full.

  Celia: “Why the silence? Anyway, Guanyu says that I can take you all out of Veil, going through the barrier.” She informed with a serious tone.

  Ria: “…We’re to leave you alone, Celia?” She replied with a weak expression.

  Mena: “Mom…” She added, looking quite sad.

  Celia: “This place is too dangerous for non-Cultivators. Reri is safe, and it is unlikely for anyone to bother you all there.” She explained with a caring tone.

  When one gives up their System for Cultivation, they don’t lose their power. Instead, they start out at the Cultivation Realm, which matches their strength.

  Celia was now Rank 8 of Golden Core, while Guanyu was almost at the peak of Cultivation. Her being at the Ascending Tribulation stage, Rank 9, at that. After this Realm… was just reaching Heaven, so Guanyu would be considered the most powerful Cultivator around, currently. As far as this group is aware, I mean…

  At the edge of Veil, Celia held hands with Mena. Flying through the barrier, neither was stopped. Though, when not holding onto Celia, none of them could interact with the barrier in the least.

  There was a small argument where Ria complained, saying that Guanyu could have just taken them out, and didn’t have to become Celia’s Dao. This was disproven, as they couldn’t pass the barrier by holding Guanyu. It only worked with Celia, due to her strong connection to them.

  Celia: “Alright, you all. Return home, and prepare thoroughly. I don’t really want this to happen… but we should be ready for a potential war with the Cultivators.” She advised with a serious tone and expression.
