Volume 9. Chapter 59: Various Evolvings. (Chapter 860.)

  Chapter 59: Various Evolvings.

With the Shadow Remnants not retaliating in the least, Celia was able to fight alone. Meanwhile, the others set up a makeshift outdoors living room, and were enjoying tea, as well as various snacks.

Celia was beautiful in everything she did; this included fighting. From this, the wives and daughters greatly enjoyed the show that Celia was putting on.

Nina: “Ah… I’m able to Evolve into a High Goddess now…” She said with a giggle, now re-numb to Celia’s antics.

June: “We started out at the same Evolution and Level, so I can as well. Mothers, is the Evolution into a High Goddess more taxing than Evolving into a Goddess?” She asked with a nervous tone.

After all, in the last life, Evolution was painful. A pain which most chose to ignore forever, only dreading it again on the day they reach the max Level for their current Evolution.

Midas: “Hardly… You’ll just have to sleep patiently, and then wake up changed. Even more… we learned to use Divinity to greatly speed up the entire process.” She denied.

Maralia: “Truly, now it takes mere minutes, rather than weeks. If we knew about this before… then we’d have done so for Celia.” She added with remorse in her tone.

June: “Everything is so simple and clean this time around…” She mused with a deadpan expression.

  The Evolutions Later.

Celia: “Wow… you all are so radiant… I feel like I am becoming my daughters mother again, and my spouses wife the same.” She said in awe.

Ria: “Don’t be silly, dear. This is because your Evolution isn’t close to ours. You now feel like how the mortals do when being near us.” She clarified with a hearty laugh.

Celia: “Oh, that makes sense…” She replied with an embarrassed tone.

During this farming spree, Celia hadn’t bothered to Evolve, choosing to just help her family get stronger and stronger. Xena completely ignored this craziness, as she had secretly placed herself in Celia’s System Group.

Since she was benefiting, gaining Levels without lifting a finger, which gave her so much time to herself, or to work, the Will turned several blind eyes to these antics.

Lia: “Celia, you should Evolve now. Xena said that she stockpiled your Exp, so you can just Evolve back to back.” She suggested, helping Celia sit down on a couch.

Celia: “Hm… I guess that I should. What Evolution are you all now?” She asked with a curious tone.

Nia: “We’re all Supreme Goddesses, Celia. One step away from becoming Highest Goddesses…” She answered for all involved.

Seeing the tension in this answer, Celia didn’t ask more. Instead, she closed her eyes, and let the process of Evolution take her.

Although Celia wasn’t sure of why Nia replied to her question so grimly, Evolving came first. Even after killing thousands upon thousands of Shadow Remnants… those crystals weren’t even half-full.

Opening her eyes, Celia started Evolving again straight away. She truly needed to increase her power, as killing those Monsters took a while with her un-Evolved Status. Returning to the waking world again… Celia soon realized why Nia acted in that weird way.
