Chapter 37: The Being In The Dungeon.
Finding that resistance was futile, the being didn’t bother to block Celia’s way. Neither Princess Ien nor Queen Larn stopped them from entering the castle, I mean.
Larn: “We’re… stuck in a dream, and I’ve been harming my loyal knights for years?” She weakly repeated.
Seeming drained of all energy, Ien took to consoling her mother. It wasn’t just spoken, as Guanyu, still being petty from Larn making them wait, gave her memories.
Memories from the Elven Knights, and cleaned versions of her own, where the beings’ false images weren’t present. At this, Queen Larn felt so horrid… But there was more important business to deal with, so, while still feeling like death, she pointed out where the dungeon was.
Down To The Dungeon!
Guanyu: “Ah, I see, I see. You should have died.” She mused with a haughty laugh.
After this, the Cultivator decided to let Larn off. Why? Because… the being was from Guanyu’s original Realm.
Celia: “Is that… Yin and Yang? I remember you telling me about such a concept before…” She asked with an unsure expression.
Yin/Yang: “That is who, or rather, what I am, yes.” It admitted.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Guanyu: “And, why’re you here? That place should have been obliterated, and you along with it.” She said with a curious tone.
Yin/Yang: “We…” It needed time to think.
The moment it noticed Guanyu, the one partly responsible for their original Realm being destroyed, it gave up most hope. Guanyu was cruel beyond belief.
It, Yin and Yang, being the morals, the one that balanced good and evil, saw it all. Guanyu’s history was still new in its mind. Which is… the Cultivator’s current appearance and attitude was immensely shocking.
Midas: “You’ve tortured the Elven people for too long, hurry up and speak!” She angrily demanded.
Yin/Yang: “No, no. I gave them happiness as well. Good and Evil… positive and negative Karma, I need them both to survive.” It clarified.
Guanyu: “I am well aware of this, and it doesn’t need to be spoken. Answer my real question, which is… why shouldn’t we kill you? A wasting fragment of a bygone world?” She added, also furious.
Yin/Yang: “…” “Should we appeal to their morals/mercy? No, Guanyu would still kill us, regardless of what the other women decide.” It thought, racking its nonexistent brain to the extreme.
Without a Dimension to oversee, Yin and Yang developed a personality, a split one, at that. The Cultivator here is very much aware… that this being should have just stopped living, rather than continue, even making others suffer.
Celia: “Guanyu, I think that we should just kill it, or let Xena decide.” She proposed with a bored tone.
Xena: “Hm…I can use it for… something, eventually.” She mused with a thinking pose, appearing next to them, as Celia’s words were magic.
Midas: “Xena, are you always watching us?…” She asked with a worried expression.
Xena: “Celia is just too entertaining, sorry. Though, rest assured, I do not watch your sexual acts.” She nonchalantly answered, flicking her wrist, taking Yin and Yang with her.
Celia and her Wives: “(/ />/ A / /)”
