Chapter 98: Space...

  Celia: “…” “So very… empty.” She thought with a shudder.

  Any time that Runey and Xena were talking about the Mana problems, or the leaks… they did so in this place.

  Typically, no one besides Wills would ever visit it, but Celia’s family were the exceptions. It had no name, it wasn’t outer-space, there were no stars. This location was merely empty blackness.

  Xena: “Focus on the Mana, you two.” She sternly advised.

  Celia: “Mana? Oh… how beautiful.” She replied with a shaky tone… before her voice then shifted into that of absolute awe.

  Guanyu: “…”

  Once Celia started to detect Mana, the empty area lit up. The Mana were in so many different shapes, some pathways, others non-Euclidean constructs. It was the most breathtaking sight that Celia had ever gazed upon. Not counting her wives, of course.

  Guanyu: “I see nothing, Celia. Please… let me back into your Soul. This place… I do not like it at all.” She weakly pleaded, showing a side that Celia didn’t yet know of.

  Xena and Runey: “( o_o)”

  A literal second after the Cultivator finished her words, Celia had vanished. Her new location… was back at their estate. Runey and Xena’s shock is… because Celia shouldn’t have been able to leave like that!!!

  Back At The Estate.

  Guanyu: “I… thank you for acting so swiftly. It goes without saying, but, Celia, you have now won my heart completely.” She praised, happy to the very (golden) core.

  Celia: “That isn’t something for me to claim, dear.” She replied with a laugh.

  Guanyu: “Too bad, as I order you to take it.” She jokingly demanded in reply.

  This lovely-dovey scene… let us ignore it. How exactly did Celia just do this absurd thing? Runey never took her to that exclusive place, and Xena’s relationship with Celia was unstable until just a few years ago. In my timeline, I mean.

  Guanyu: “I’ve calmed down now, Celia. I’ll go into your Soul, and then you can return to your duties.” She informed, but only after taking a deep breath.

  Celia: “Are you sure? I’ve never seen you act that way before…” She replied with a worried, reluctant tone.

  Guanyu: “Please, dear… Being coddled by someone so much younger than me, not to mention what happened earlier… is humiliating enough.” She somewhat forcefully replied, hiding her crimson face behind a fan, slipping into Celia’s Soul before the woman herself could even react.

  Celia: “…”

  She Somehow Teleported Back!

  Xena: “Celia?! Is Guanyu okay? We were just about to go check on you two…” She exclaimed in surprise.

  Celia: “Yes, she is fine.” She replied with a smile.

  Runey: “…” “I wonder… what Celia actually is.” She secretly thought, being serious for the first time in a while.

  With the Cultivator calm restored, and resting within Celia, the group went back to the issue at hand. Celia looked all around, trying to understand Mana. Something that both Xena, Runey, and every other Will have long since themselves failed to do…
