Chapter 97: Asking Her Out (About The Problem).

  Celia: “You need me to come up with a solution to your problem? Xena… why didn’t you and Runey realize this issue earlier… while making the System?” She asked in reply, her eyebrow raised.

  Asking Celia for help… it wasn’t like we were averse to this option. Rather… Celia, with her current knowledge, was unlikely to figure out a good plan.

  Especially with how limited the family accidentally left her. Xena and I… just forgot to account for the fact that… Celia was back in full form, and is now far more able to come up with something that would weirdly work.

  Xena: “Because… we never planned for our… your family to reach this Evolution so quickly. There just isn’t enough Mana present for you all to Evolve…” She answered with a groan.

  Celia: “Oh…” She replied with a remorseful tone, realizing that she was the one at fault, not Xena.

  Guanyu: “Mana, huh? Even now, I have yet to grasp what this… energy actually is.” She mused with a thinking pose.

  Celia: “Isn’t it similar to Qi, Guanyu?” She replied with a head tilt.

  Guanyu: “In use, somewhat. But Qi had sources of where it came from, so it could be understood. If Yin and Yang were ever broken, and the Gods, Goddesses, as well as the Deities were similarly deceased, Qi would vanish. Whereas… this Mana isn’t attached to anything. It just is.” She explained, tone tinged with curiosity about the true nature of Mana.

  To be fair, no one had an answer for this. The various Wills could direct, block, and mostly control Mana, but none knew of its origin. Which is why Xena cannot just make more out of nowhere.

  Xena: “That is something best left to philosophers, Guanyu. Perhaps when we make it to Home… Celia and you can discover Mana’s origin point. That will be in the future, though, and only after the Mana supply issues are resolved.” She said with a slightly impatient tone.

  Guanyu: “If I wait that long… Celia will discover that without me. However, I understand that sacrifices must be made.” She replied with a saddened tone.

  Celia: “You just have to stay by my side forever then, dear.” She said with a loving tone, and then she wrapped Guanyu in her warm arms.

  Kiss!

  Xena: “…” “Future Vulely… hasn’t told me how long it will be until I marry Celia. So… watching this loving scene is actually pissing me off!!!” She thought with pure frustration.

  Hehe… I see that my revenge is as successful as I had hoped it would be. This is what you get for not giving me any respect, Xena! I won’t ever gloat like this to her face, though. I did lie about the reason why I can’t tell Xena her marriage date…

  Faith: “Wait… why is it a given that Celia has, or could, come up with a plan which would work out of the box?” She asked with an unsure tone, pulling Celia away from Guanyu to get her own round of cuddles.

  Xena: “At this point in time… are we really just going to pretend that Celia is that incapable?” She replied with a scoff.

  Mena: “Being capable isn’t the main reason she is like this. Unlike us, Celia never acts, or will act, like a Higher Being. She can see things through viewpoints that we cannot.” She added with a knowing tone.

  Everyone: “…”
