Chapter 11: Before The Beastly Encounter.
Fore: “…”
Woosh!
Marni: “…”
Woosh!
Celia: “…”
Double Grab!
Fore: “Let me go!… We have to run away!!!” She exclaimed in pure horror.
Marni: “I don’t know what’s happening… But I agree with Fore!!!” She added, also scared out of her wits.
Before leaving their little camp, Marni and Celia worked on figuring out Divinity use more. Marni was just an Angel, so she didn’t have much Divinity to use. Luckily, Celia was able, and more than willing, to lend her friend Divinity.
As such, Marni and Fore were powered up via Celia’s newish Magic, which made it so that their core abilities were greatly improved. Their movement speed, for example. However, even without using that technique on herself, Celia was significantly quicker than any of them could ever hope to be.
Celia: “Must I really grab you two, one multi-thousand-year-old Angel, and an adult woman, like silly, rambunctious children?” She asked with a long sigh, still holding the girls up like they were kittens.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Fore: “Celia! You don’t understand the threat that I just awakened… Please, we must flee to survive!!!” She pleaded with her entire being.
Celia: “I do not know what you’ve angered by being a little foolish, nor do I care, Fore.” She replied with an unbothered tone.
Fore: “( ? _ ? )”
Marni: “( ’-’ ~)”
Celia: “Besides, what does it even matter? I am not boasting when saying this… but nothing on this island can hurt me. Don’t worry, I’ll protect you two with ease.” She continued, her tone now shifting to be reassuring, and oddly motherly.
Marni: “…” “Ah, I forgot that Celia is almost always stronger than the opposition! Stupid Fore, making me look like an idiot in front of my friend!!!” She fumed in her mind, now putting the sole Human of the group onto her eternal shit list.
Like helpless chicks, Celia then carefully cleaned the two off with her Divinity brand Cleaning Magic, and made sure that their outfits were in perfect shape.
When she met her, Marni’s outfit, an Angelic-like warrior dress, was tarnished, and Fore’s outfit was equally destroyed. Celia, of course, kept a bunch of outfits in her Storage Ring, so Fore and Marni were wearing extremely beautiful, as well as strong attire.
Celia: “Fore, what has gotten you so scared? You were so fearless earlier, facing off against a Higher Being…” She asked without a care in the world, looking in the direction of where they heard the roar coming from.
Fore: “That was because I was starving, and had been ready to die for food!!!… As for my current fear… well… each area has a specific Guardian Monster, and, since I damaged so many trees… I’ve enraged the overseer of this forest.” She carefully explained, now discreetly hiding behind Celia.
Marni: “Why does everything always go wrong around Celia?” She outwardly mused, tone quiet, hiding in the same manner as Fore.
After they went further into the island, the tropical trees and fauna vanished, and they entered a lush forest. It was a weird and drastic change of scenery, and the shift reminds Celia of a poorly designed game.
Celia: “I see… Maybe I can finally Level up once I kill this little Guardian.” She finally replied while doing a thinking pose, tone that of excitement.
Fore and Marni: “(- _ -)”
