How I imagined how the Hexgates worked, from hearsay. Blue beaaaam, and then the airship floats the rest of the way there.
Now, for the airship I was on. Blue beam, and then we were on the other side of the sea in a matter of minutes. What was supposed to be days turned into a few minutes.
When I stood up with the rest, I almost stumbled, with a high chance of toppling them like trees with how unbanced they were 1No dominos, but if you do see trees toppling each other over... Run.. Strange. It was only a small amount of time, yet my legs and hands felt weak.
After leaving the airship, a small quaint town with mostly Piltovan buildings greeted me. Only a select few had a different style. Curved roofs, wooden patterns, yet still with some aspects of Piltover, like gss windows. I'm sure there are proper toilets as well.
The air was different too, fresher, and more... light? The mana was more saturated, but with a more otherworldly and calm feel.
With a few warnings to stay safe and that they couldn't guarantee my safety after leaving this resort town.
I was sick of this! There was couples everywhere. And I mean every single pce. Banging. Old rich men, old rich women. Worse. Ugh.
Signs were pstered near the entrances of inns, speaking of how their enhanced water made it more likely for the child to be born a genius. And a mage.
Wait. Something's wrong.
I looked closer. Mages for hire? Surely it's not that kind of hire...
Shit.
I immediately left. Some people were surrounding me already. A brief fsh of white as their clothes moved revealed white nets. Petricite as well? That is just ridiculous. If I knew the cheapest flight was a trap, I never would've went on it. Couldn't even enjoy the view because of all the blue light on the outside.
Got scammed both ways. Lost my coin and they want to have my body as well?
No one here is innocent except for the victims getting beaten in the basements. Now how do I destroy the pce without hurting people? Maybe I can just turn the upper half into debris. Yeah. That'll do.
To quickly evade capture. Just follow these simple steps. Step one. Walk to an alleyway. Step two. Disappear using a method of your choosing. In my case, just disappearing below the ground. I can't even go too far down as there was tunnels there as well.
Cursing happened above me as they showed up to an empty alley. This is going to be their fault. One day they will meet someone that will destroy the town. I'm just moving it forwards.
Just a simple shake made countless small cracks in the structure of the building. Now, all it took was a small shake to topple it over. Which I'll be long gone by the time someone knocks it down. Hopefully.
After a just under a hour, every single building in the town got marked by me.
"Whew."
I wiped the sweat off my brows as I stood on a ledge overlooking the town. The question of whether or not this was right passed through my mind multiple times. It seems fine...
Now only time will tell.
I turned my back on the town. Now then. How do I find the town where there's mages or Demacians? I would assume they go hand in hand. It should be coastal, but I don't even know where I am. Do I really need to head back to town for a map?
I'll feel guilty if I head back. Instead, I'll let luck do the work.
One retively straight stick ter.
North.
Assuming that the sea is inbetween Piltover and Ionia, the right side is north.
As I continued walking, the fauna got strange. Strange strange. The cliff had multicolored yers, and there was trees rising above the waters. The trees had ft tops and were just as colorful as the cliffs. Cyan, pink, yellow, and orange.
If I collect some, it's not going to turn my skin the same as the crabs around here I think. Gingerly, I take out my mallet to tap the stone, testing how hard it was. One small tap. Just the tiniest tap dented the stone.
"Usable only for coloring things."
With the proper gze and heating, I'm sure it can become a good decoration. Maybe it can be the gze? Useless for now.
I scooped some into paper before scrunching it and storing. Who knows when I'll be back to collect more samples.
Just pin sand far into the distance.
The sun set. I had walked around in half a circle around the isnd. Small rocky outcrops jutted out as the tides receded, revealing dozens of strange spiky tentacled crawling back into the water. Fish flopped in the tidepools left behind as birds swooped from above.
Did a pnt just catch a bird?
I rubbed my eyes to see if I was hallucinating. It was still a little dim, but a rge green bird was wrapped around by some kind of purple pnt. Barbs tched onto the bird, pulsing. The bird on the other hand fpped its wings desperately, gradually slowing down.
Sucks to be that bird I guess.
Now how do I get from this isnd to the rger one? There isn't any trees around for me to use.
