Chapter 14: Waking Up As A Higher Being.

  Waking up again, Celia was in the comfort of her room. Only Ria was present, as Celia had made it through her Evolution, with no threats around.

  Ria: “Don’t get up too fast. You aren’t Human anymore, and that comes with odd changes.” She sternly informed, helping Celia sit up in her bed.

  When she did so, Celia accidentally started floating above her bed. She wasn’t using Flying Magic, so this confused her greatly.

  Ria: “As a Goddess… you don’t have to walk around. Although, I recommend that you learn how to do so again.” She explained with a giggle.

  Celia: “(~OAO)”

  The woman attempted to get out of bed, only to be sent flying directly into the nearest wall. A hole was made; Celia stuck in it. No damage was received by the girl, though, as a mere wall couldn’t harm a Goddess.

  Carma: “Ah, Celia? You’re doing so well!” She praised, patting the wall-bound Celia’s head.

  Celia: “Eh? But… I destroyed a wall minutes after waking up…” She replied with a remorseful expression and tone.

  Frankly, Celia had so often damaged the castle, that there was a team of maids… with the sole job of repairing it. As such, this wall would be fixed within the day, if not in a few hours.

  Carma: “What? Oh, that isn’t a big deal. After I Evolved… I ended up flying away, so high up in the sky. Midas had to fly up and save me…” She admitted with a somewhat red face.

  Celia: “…”

  A Few Days Later.

  Eventually, Celia managed to walk like a Human, and not float without wanting to do so. There were a lot of changes that I won’t go into, but, the main one… was the flying. Celia could now fly without any Mana, more freely than ever before.

  Ruina: “Do your daughter a favor… and please look at your Status already! I’ve been waiting for so long…” She pleaded.

  Celia: “Really? Sorry, I’ve been busy learning my new Evolution’s quirks… Status.” She agreed with a giggle.

  Now a Goddess, Celia shared her family’s stagnation problem. It takes so much Exp just to gain one Level up… Celia wasn’t sure if she could ever advance another Evolution. Or, at least, Celia wouldn’t be able to do so anytime soon.

  Celia: “Ruina, did Midas and others really eradicate the monsters of this land?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

  Ruina: “Absolutely! There isn’t a single one left, with this world not even bothering to spawn them on this landmass at all.” She answered with a frustrated tone.

  Ruina was also frustrated, as she was in Celia’s group. Any Exp that they got… would be shared, not to mention how Celia doubles it by default…
