Chapter 15: Trying To Gain Exp.
Celia searched around Reri’s capital city, finding books on monsters. She was hopeful that there was so an untouched patch of monsters somewhere; you see.
Leaving this land was fine, but none of her family has done so before. And Celia couldn’t, as she was to attend Veil. Not that she knew where it was…
Carma: “Went out shopping?” She assumed, seeing her sister return home.
Celia: “A bit…” She replied with a defeated tone.
Carma: “What’s wrong?” She asked with concern, guiding Celia further into the castle, destination being her room.
Celia: “There aren’t any monsters left here… So… wouldn’t Veil also be pointless to go to? And we’re Higher Beings now, so what does an education or graduation even matter?” She answered with a wistful, upset tone and expression.
After ten minutes of silence, Carma not answering the question, the two ended up in Carma’s room.

Celia: “…”
Carma: “Is your Status restricted?” She asked with a curious tone.
Celia: “Yes…” She replied after checking.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Until now, Celia had forgotten about this weird collar. And… it somehow managed to restrict Celia’s Status back to that of a weak, Level 50 Human. She couldn’t fathom why Midas and Carma were still working on this scary thing to this very day…
Carma: “The Academy of Veil is a large, floating island, dearest sister. The land stretches farther than our landmass, containing countless monsters of high Level.” She explained as she took off the collar.
Celia: “Oh! So getting Exp won’t be a problem, huh?” She happily mused.
Carma: “It will depend on what the average Level of monsters is there. Not even Alisa could gleam information on them, as Veil is extremely closed off, and reclusive to an absurd degree.” She replied with an unsure tone, doing a thinking pose.
Maralia, a few years ago, attempted to invade Veil, but she couldn’t get past their barrier. Ruina wasn’t able to break it, either.
The admission slips… truly are for access to that Academy. Midas still assumes that there is a secret Higher Being, one unrelated to Celia’s group, who controls Veil.
When she was there, Midas could never find the owner of that Academy, which is something that she’s been intrigued with forever now. The barrier wasn’t originally there, so the mystery grew deeper and more interesting in Midas’s mind.
Celia: “Darn… Either way, what’s that collar for?” She asked with some worry in her eyes.
Carma: “Graduating isn’t important, Celia. We’re just going there, as it is almost guaranteed to have strong monsters, filled with Exp for us to reap.” She answered, pretending to not hear Celia’s current question.
Celia: “…”
Carma: “The collar is for if you ever go crazy, or if I want to lock you up for a bit. So far, you’ve been a good girl, and all the crazy stuff has been out of your hands. Keep this up, and this little toy won’t ever have to be used.” She finally answered, tone obsessive, flashing a similar smile.
Celia: “(O.o)”
Ruina: “…” “A yandere daughter… Celia truly gets all the types of women, huh? Even her daughters are unique!” She secretly thought with a deadpan tone.
