Chapter 17: Secretly Gaining Hidden Information.
Guanyu: “I understand now why no one could break that barrier…” She said with an awed tone, appearing in front of the group.
Shortly after entering Veil, Guanyu had come out of Celia’s Soul Realm. No one greeted them once they entered, but, in the distance, was an impressively sized city, which did look somewhat academic. It being their destination before the Cultivator stopped them in their tracks.
Celia: “What do you mean?” She asked with a head tilt, curious.
Guanyu: “That barrier was made with Qi, a source of power that Cultivators use. We call it an Array… It isn’t something those of this universe… should be able to utilize or make. That being Qi, and Arrays, I mean.” She answered with a thinking pose.
Those here couldn’t just not use Qi; they aren’t able to interact with it at all. That barrier was like a natural, unbreakable deterrent to all those in this dimension.
Qi was even abundant on this island, making Guanyu feel like she’s finally breathed fresh air after drowning for years. Though happy, this added confusion.
Ria: “So… the owner of this Academy is another Cultivator?” She assumed with an unsure tone.

Alisa: “That would be hard to believe, considering how Guanyu getting to this Universe is still unexplained.” She said with a confused expression.
Guanyu: “I don’t sense any Cultivator here right now. But, during closed-door Cultivation, it is impossible to detect a Cultivator.” She added with a sigh.
At this point, Guanyu didn’t really care about returning to her original Universe. To even call it that was… not accurate.
Guanyu’s Dimension exists outside of any Universe of Celia’s realm. It was similar to an Isekai situation, with this Cultivator being the biggest unknown variable in history. Even after all this time, Xena still hasn’t figured out how Guanyu got here, or if she could return to her original Universe/Dimension.
Mena: “Either way, shouldn’t we head to the Academy?” She sternly proposed, hiding behind Celia.
At Level 1, Mena had some senses that a typical Human wouldn’t have. After all, she was a Wraith. It was safe right now, but Mena could feel countless powerful monsters, all locked onto and heading for her.
If they could only detect the Goddess or High Goddesses here… those monsters would stay well away from Mena.
Celia: “Should we hunt?” She suggested.
Alisa: “No, we can do that later. For now, Mena is correct.” She denied, with everyone else soon agreeing.
With that, Celia picked up her daughter (I forgot to mention, but Celia carried Mena each time they flew), and then her group went to Veil’s main city.
Arriving Later.
Once there, some people greeted them. Guanyu recognized their attire to be those similar to her Dimension, looking like ancient Chinese clothing.
Jeru had dressed in clothes that Celia knew and was familiar with, but now it all made sense as that just being a front. The bows they did… were an open palm, and a fist in it. Just like those in Cultivation sect do all the time…
