Chapter 46: Realizing That She Was Gone.
After Deyl left, those on the boat were still shocked into not moving. And for more reasons than one… The Higher Beings were the same. As, in front of that whale… they were nothing more than ants.
The Humans, which made up a majority of those aboard the ship, were lying down, even ten minutes later. Everyone had bleeding ears, with the force that Deyl emitted from that roar alone… being almost enough to send them to the afterlife.
Midas: “My Status shows… no real damage. Is everyone else okay?” She asked, struggling to stand up. “Besides the Humans. I mean… they look almost dead.” She mused in her thoughts, trying to calm down her nerves.
Ria: “Fine? I felt as though my Soul was about to leave my body…” She replied, doing the same struggle as Midas.
Seeing the Higher Beings get up, no worse for wear, the Humans were slightly miffed. But, in the end, they were just Humans, and, if fate allowed it… those here could also reach the heights that Celia’s family has.
Carma: “Why did Deyl even bother to show up, scaring us to high hell?” She asked with a groan.
Alisa: “Hard to say… It had a very high INT Stat, so it wasn’t just a mindless monster.” She mused, unsure.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Zia: “Surely, it wasn’t just to mess with us, right? Though… an ancient being like that… does get bored, I guess.” She added with a thinking pose.
Everyone: “( ? _ ? )”
Zia: “?”
It was then… that Zia realized that she had gotten a… body. Ria’s feeling wasn’t incorrect, as Zia truly did get ejected out of her body. How Zia got a vessel, one which seemed to have no problems… was a mystery. The woman was even clothed…
Xena: “Wow… For once, it wasn’t Celia who found a bug!” She exclaimed in excitement, appearing on the boat.
Zia: “Xena… you won’t… force me back into Ria, will you?” She asked with a worried expression and tone.
Xena: “It wasn’t your doing, just a missed exploit on my part. Anyway, I’ll let this one slide, as you would have received a new body in the future, I assume.” She answered with a shrug.
With Celia’s… experiences poisoning Xena, she had made reality to be very similar to games, even in Dimensions/Universes without Magic or Systems. As such… most things can be explained away in the manner of game logic.
Ria: “But… what really happened? I am happy that my other part now has a body of her own… I am just confused, if not curious, about how this occurred.” She said with a thinking pose.
Xena: “Simply put, Zia was forced out of Ria’s body from Deyl’s roar, and Existence, unaware of how to proceed with this bugged, exposed Soul, used some resources to make Zia a new body.” She explained, happy to find another problem.
Xena then assured the group that nothing would be done about Zia’s accidental cheating… before then leaving. The Humans here all witnessed this scene, but chose to never mention it again…
Ruina: “Hey… where is Celia?” She asked with a frustrated sigh, seeming to already know the answer to her question.
Celia’s Family: “…”
