Chapter 47: Kidnapped... For the Nth Time, It Seems!

Fiona: “Welcome to my land, Princess Celia.” She said with a smile, guiding the woman into the grand castle.

Celia: “It is… more luxurious than anything I’ve ever seen before.” She replied in shock.

Like I said, Celia is more active, instead of reactive, this time around. Fiona, the ruler of the seas, didn’t really kidnap Celia.

Instead, the woman appeared in front of the collapsed her, asked Celia if she could take her underwater, to her land, to which the Goddess agreed. Fiona mentioned something important, which required someone who was a royal of some kind, so Celia went along with the unique request.

Fiona: “Thanks to our… vast, practically endless and rare resources under the surface… yes, we do have the means to be grand. I always tell the others how… greedy it looks, but they pay my words no heed.” She mused with a sigh.

Greedy wasn’t even the best word to describe this place. Despite being underwater, the people of the sea had all evolved into Humanoid forms, though, with the ability to breathe in water.

As for their splendid, deep down city… it was… special. With luminescence pearls as lights, which shone for miles, most of the buildings were made out of pure Orichalcum. Rather than the supposed top tier forged Orichalcum that Celia knew… Fiona’s people discovered how to make that ore retain its blueish hue; she could only assume as such.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

Celia: “Why don’t any of you come to the surface? With all this wealth… taking it over would be a breeze.” She asked with a curious tone.

Fiona: “We would… but staying on land isn’t possible for us. At most, I can still above the water for a mere hour. That amount of time… is actually quite high, with the average being only a few minutes.” She answered with an awkward tone and expression.

Seeing Celia amused by her city… left Fiona quite happy. To her, this place was normal, and uninteresting. For Celia… seeing the rarest type of forged Orichalcum, used as building materials, and even various gems placed ornately for mere decorations… caused her to be awed for a long while.

The woman even noticed countless Earth Blossoms, just strewn about the place. Celia tried to find more of them… but not even Alisa could obtain another. Once more, Celia was spooked.

Fiona: “Celia, how can you breathe underwater? I was going to use Bubble Magic, but you seemed to be fine, breathing now without a problem.” She asked with an interested tone and expression.

Celia: “Me? Oh, I’m a Goddess. If I recall correctly… I don’t have to breathe air.” She answered with a head tilt.

Fiona: “Eh?! How does that work?…” She shakily replied in confusion. “Did I really kidnap a Goddess?!” She secretly thought, deeply worried beyond belief.

Celia: “From how it was explained to me… I breathe Mana, and Divinity. Oxygen is what most beings need to survive, but I, and other Higher Beings, don’t need it.” She explained with some confidence, as Xena was the one who told Celia about this.

  Fiona: “( o_o)”
