Chapter 35: Negotiations With Higher Beings... Is Hard.
At first, Larn didn’t truly believe the maid’s words. Due to that, the queen didn’t rush back to her castle, taking over twenty minutes to do so, and then taking ten more to change out of her armor.
By the time she reached the tearoom, another hour had passed. Guanyu was practically fuming, with Celia having to coax her into being sane.
Ien: “Mother, please handle the negotiations!” She suggested, grabbing her mother into the room before swiftly leaving.
Larn: “…”
Even without seeing their Statuses, the queen was certain that this group was made out of Higher Beings. One couldn’t hide this aura, which causes most mortals to almost kneel down, and worship them.
Celia: “Princess Ien mentioned that you’re fighting something, yes?” She spoke, not bothered by the delayed queen.
Larn: “T-that’s correct.” She shakily nodded in reply, feeling the Cultivator’s angry, blazing gaze on her.
The Explanation Later.
After telling Celia and her wives the situation, Larn was prepared for rejection. Celia was clearly the one making the decisions, and the women getting comfy with her… were blatantly her wives.

From this, Larn couldn’t just sell her body for Celia’s help. If this was the Celia from before, she’d have just helped without any compensation, but Celia is better now.
Celia: “Queen Larn, we seek a unification between Felta, Reri, and the Elves.” She said with a serious tone, before taking a sip of her tea.
Larn: “A…unification. What would that entail? Will I lose my power and position?” She asked in reply with a thinking pose.
Celia: “This land will be jointly ruled by you and Empress Rien.” She clarified.
Larn: “Hm? What about Empress Carma and Princess Alisa?” She replied with confusion.
From an outside perspective, Reri becoming an Empire… wasn’t something that most have fully grasped. The relations were weird; those on different continents, differing kingdoms/empires, didn’t know if they should do trade with Reri and snub Felta, vice versa, or trade with both.
Larn’s land was caught up in this weird trade environment, with supplies getting increasingly lower, while the lines in the sand hadn’t been fully set just yet. In fact, Larn was all for Celia’s proposal, as it would instantly ease all these problems.
Celia: “Alisa doesn’t wish to rule, and neither does Carma. You, Amei, and Rien, should be enough to oversee this land, make it one complete country.” She nonchalantly explained.
Larn: “…If you deal with that being, I shall accept wholeheartedly. Until then, my priority is to slay that monster, and, if luck is in my destiny, save the captives as well.” She replied, calming down, and regaining some queenly aura.
Celia was honestly a bit bored, and, if she had her way… would just be having sexual relations with her spouses. Dealing Larn’s problem… is a good enough distraction, you see.
Celia: “Very well, then it shall be done. Please wait here for our good news.” She accepted with a smile, before then getting up from the couch, exiting the room, and leaving Larn with her mouth agape.
Larn: “(~OAO)”
